About glpweightloss.in
An educational initiative by BeatO, built to help people in India make informed, calm decisions about GLP-1 weight loss.
Who we are
glpweightloss.in is an educational initiative by BeatO, India's diabetes and metabolic health platform. We built this site because we saw too many people making expensive, anxious decisions about GLP-1 medicines based on WhatsApp forwards, US-focused blog posts, and pricing information that was already out of date.
Our aim is simple: give clear, honest, doctor-reviewed information and free tools so people in India can understand what these medicines actually do, what they cost, and whether a conversation with a doctor is worth having.
What this site is, and isn't
This site is: a free source of educational content, calculators, and decision tools grounded in published clinical trial data and India-specific pricing research.
This site is not: a pharmacy, a prescriber, or a substitute for medical advice.
- No medicine is sold, prescribed, or dispensed through this website.
- Every tool provides general educational guidance only — not a diagnosis, not a prescription.
- A licensed doctor, after reviewing your full medical history, makes the actual clinical decision.
Our relationship with BeatO
glpweightloss.in is operated by BeatO. We may direct users who want to speak to a doctor to BeatO's consultation services. This relationship is disclosed clearly in the banner at the top of every page and in the footer, so you always know who's behind what you're reading.
How our content is developed
Our content is grounded in published clinical trial data (including the STEP trials for semaglutide and the SURMOUNT trials for tirzepatide), India's regulatory and pricing environment, and standard clinical protocols reviewed by medical professionals working with BeatO.
Pricing information is updated periodically as generics enter the market, but is always indicative — not a quote or offer. If you're within a few months of a decision, confirm final prices with your pharmacy or care provider.
